This is a abstract of a picture taken on the National Mall in Washington, DC in 2004. I was crossing the bridge near the tidal basin when a hawk swooped down out of the sky and grabbed a fish and was immediately chased by a sea gull looking for a free meal. Some things in Washington never change.

Joe, this textured digital painting is so beautiful. I have not seen anything else like it. The movement of the birds is captured so beautifully, and the colors are wonderful! I also love the russet brush in the foreground and the trees. l/f
