Description
In 2015, after 5 years of retirement, on those mornings when I am lucky enough to keep my oatmeal down, I often think of my childhood. Like for example the house pictured in this work. It is of a rural farmhouse outside Oneida, Illinois circa 1949 where Brother Tom ate 13 ears of corn in one setting, Brother Bob saw bird dew on a window sill and tried to chew it only to find that it was not a Wrigley' Juicy Fruit and where blackie buried a bone in the couch and where I, intent on helping my older brothers, ran to the coal shed to break coal for the cook stove only to hit myself in the head with my toy hammer and cut my head open. Is it any wonder that life has been an emotional experience for me?

I enjoy this kind of art! You have to work these images so they stand out. I like this one! Who wouldn't remember what life was like so many years ago? For me that's over 60 years!
