Description
It used to be that we fixed things ourselves; it used to be that friends and family worked together not only to fix things but to bond; now we have others fix our things; others who often make unnecessary repairs and who almost always charge unnecessarily too much; all the while we take our leisure mostly with our electronic gadgets firing off unnecessarily hostile digital spit balls anonymously at those we do not know for reasons we are not sure of.

Oh! I agree with you so much here, Joe. My parents were of this generation and I lost them both within the past year. I truly miss their work ethic so much and their view of the world. If they ever saw a problem, it was up to them to fix it. They helped others all of their lives. They worked hard and loved others. Our world really needs to get back to their simple basics of how to live. This is a wonderful reminder...love it!...vf
